Vibration engineering
Even with precision manufacturing and clear-sighted construction, vibrations caused by movement occur in machines and assemblies. These vibrations can damage machine parts and can cause noise. Our vibration engineering solutions reliably dampen and insulate these vibrations.
Rotating, linear and other movements in machines are extremely taxing on the system and can even cause parts of the machine to break or damage the bearings, cause tension in assemblies and cause unwanted noises during operation. With the Freudenberg Process Seals vibration engineering solutions, you will significantly increase the service life of machines and assemblies and will achieve constructive savings by being able to make lighter constructions and reduce noise emissions.
For the design we offer comprehensive know-how and leading expertise in development, material selection and manufacturing. From the simple buffer to a complex hydraulic mount.

Freudenberg Process Seals vibration engineering elements are essentially used in three types of application:
Mounts for complete machines
- Insulating vibrations caused by the machine
- Balancing out any unevenness there may be in the contact area through the elastomer part (with M-mounts additionally through height adjustment)
- Using Hydro-mounts for extremely soft mounting and structure-borne noise insulation
Mounting individual machine parts
- Connecting and bearing individual machine parts and assemblies using ultra bushings, M-mounts, round mounts, O-shaped mounts
Limit stoppers
- Shock absorption and movement limitations within the machine using buffers and stops
