White EPDM for the food and pharmaceutical industry

White sealing products are a coveted technical solution in process engineering, especially for exceptionally hygienic applications. Typical white materials made of PTFE or silicone are only of limited suitability here due to the lack of elasticity or stability; elastomers in contrast generally have blackening carbon-black added to increase the elastic properties and stability.
The white 75 EPDM 253815 is a new kind of compound that manages without adding carbon-black and despite this, has excellent sealing qualities analogous to those of a black EPDM. In extensive tests, 75 EPDM 253815 has proven its excellent mechanical and chemical stability and in particular in CIP /SIP processes shows significantly better results than white elastomers from other manufacturers. Ideal conditions for applications in accordance with Hygienic Design and FDA as well as other licensing specifications.
