Special characteristics of this industry

In the production processes for ice-cream, raw materials with a high percentage of fat are used, as well as a wide range of additives, such as pieces of fruit. These can be embedded in the seals during production and can cause leaks.

Another characteristic of the industry are the extreme temperature changes, such as conveying the cold product at 0 °C after steam sterilization at 140 °C. Sealing solutions provided by Freudenberg Process Seals handle these influences reliably in every type of application.
