V-Seal Set packings are primarily used as multi-component sealing kits for translational movements and thanks to their low friction and pretensioning, are a worthwhile alternative to packing seals.
Consisting of a compression ring, several V-packing rings and a backup ring, V-Seal Set packings made by Freudenberg Process Seals are the ideal sealing component for reliably sealing spindles on control and shut-off valves, rods on plunger pumps and hydraulic cylinders as well as pivot joints and mixers. Predominantly used for translational movements, but also for slow rotational movements, our V-Seal Set packings are very impressive due to their low friction and significantly lower axial load than for example with stuffing box packings.
Our V-Seal Set packings are manufactured by machining semifinished products in the standard material types PTFE and PTFE-carbon compounds and there therefore particularly cost-effective. We offer special designs made of PTFE impregnated Nomex fabric for higher pressures, as well as of polyethylene, PEEK and Univerdit (a compound of PTFE and graphite).
