Only Freudenberg offers the original Simmerring® as a rotary shaft seal to seal shafts and spindles as well as to protect bearings. This sealing system is primarily designed for rotating movements.
Simmerring® Radiamatic® HTS II shaft sealing rings are a special development made of PTFE and offer a wide range of possible uses in the processing industry. They are characterized by producing low friction and also low contact pressure of the lip on the shaft.
The significant advantage of HTS II shaft sealing rings are their high media stability, as the media to be sealed only come into contact with PTFE. A material which can be used extremely well in almost all media as well as cleaning agents and allows particularly hygienic processes when producing foods or drinks for example. Furthermore, the HTS II shaft sealing ring attains excellent sealing properties with extremely low contact pressure which reduces the friction losses.
For special requirements, such as increased pressures, constructions without dead space or extreme dust exposure, special designs are available. Even component reductions can be cost-effectively realized for individual applications thanks to the innovative lip sealing design.
Function
Dimensions
|
HTS II 9535 |
with standard lips for conventional uses |
|
HTS II 9536 SL |
with additional dust lip for use in highly contaminated environment if there is a risk of foreign bodies getting underneath the lip seal as well as for alternate pressure-vacuum operation |
|
HTS II 9537 DR |
with extended metal locking ring for high pressures and pressure peaks, improved heat dissipation |
|
HTS II 9538 DL |
with double lip for high safety requirements |
|
HTS II 9539 VL |
Version with no dead space with protruding sealing lip for applications in accordance with Hygienic Design |
| WADB 9461 |
shaft sealing ring designed to be extremely short for tight installation spaces, only in combination with secondary seal made of FKM or virginal PTFE on the media contact side |
|
EWDR 9543 |
Pressure seal up to 30 bar, which covers the usage parameters between standard radiamatic and mechanical seal |
Because of their variable designs, HTS II shaft sealing rings suit an extremely wide range of uses in engineering processes to seal media, separate lubricants and media, and to protect against cleaning processes.
