Solutions for seat valves
Seat valves are used in large numbers in the beverage industry amongst others. They allow a range of production and cleaning processes (CIP / SIP Cleaning/Sterilization in place) to be realized.
The O-ring is the most important sealing element in these valves. Depending on the application, molded parts can also be used, which in cooperation with the valve manufacturers, are designed specifically for individual customers by our sealing solutions experts.
Parameters such as media stability, resistance to wear and a long service life need to be taken into consideration. to ensure cleaning processes remain simple, i. e. without the need to disassemble the valve. To seal off the axially sliding actuator, you are best to use lip seals made of elastomers, plastics (e.g. PTFE) or stuffing box packing from our range of products. To protect the rod, you can also choose between bellows made of different materials.
